Marfa, Texas. We went in the fall and stayed at the old hotel in Downtown. We enjoyed it very much, nice well cared for room. Love the lobby and the great jazz music they play. Restraurant is very good also. Best to go towards the end of the week, because when we were there not much was open. I am sorry I don't remember the names of all the places, but they large gallery was exceptional. Not art that you would put in your home, but the artist was delivering a story and it was very well done.

The Sentinel Coffee House was very good but we not that impressed with the Burrito place, but it may be an option with kids.

We went to Ft. Davis to the Army museum there and it was very interesting. I understand there is a garden there but didn't find out till we were leaving. Ask about it. Also, people were staying they had a wonderful time at the observatory and really learned a lot there. Go there before going to look for the Marfa Lights.

I think if we had more time we would have gone down to the National Park. The country is really beautiful. There are not many restrurants but they were all good. What they are doing to rehab the town in very interesting. I enjoyed it but it has a long way to go. Good to see it now.

Enjoy,

Judy O
