Morning friends—happy 2025!
Last night we took the kids out for sushi and were in bed by 10, which is how I like my NYE these days. I’ve learned how much I value a good night’s sleep and waking up feeling ready for the day, so it’s how I like to enter the new year. Today we’re going to a friend’s house for brunch, and then the plan is to do my first Polar Plunge at Barton Springs, which sounds both invigorating and terrifying. Wish me luck.
Whether you woke up this morning feeling bright-eyed and energized or exhausted from last night’s festivities, I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels ready for a reset in some area of our lives. After a season of holiday indulgences and lots of to-do’s, January always arrives at just the right moment—a calm friend urging us to slow down, simplify, and pause to consider what’s next.
And in that pause lies so much potential, which is why I love the energy that January brings. It invites us to dream about what’s next and commit to the practices that will help us feel our best. Rather than setting a bunch of resolutions, I embrace this week to get clear on what truly matters and map out the small, meaningful steps that will add up to something bigger over time.
So, I’ve got two tools to share with you today that our team has been working on for months—they both happened to have a January 1st launch date, so here we go:
The 30-Day Wellness Reset
We can all get sucked into the frenzy of New Year’s resolutions, and it’s easy to start the year with 10 things we want to change about ourselves. But over the past few years, I’ve started thinking bigger than a checklist. I’ve shifted my focus to envision the life I want to be living, and how that life feels—inspired, aligned, calm, and in flow.
Over the next 30 days, we’ll walk through four different wellness pillars that will shift our thinking and help us step into the most vibrant and magnetic versions of ourselves. Each week, I’ll share an interview with an expert I deeply admire across these topics to help us step into practices aligned with our highest selves. Here’s how it’s going down:
Week 1 (starting this Sunday!): Creating and Manifesting a Vision for Your Life
We’ll kick off with a solo episode from moi, where I’ll share the Vision Board practice I’ve used over the last 6 years to get clarity on my goals and create a path to reach them. (Get a jump start with my Vision Board Kit here. I’m also hosting a Virtual Vision Board Workshop this Saturday over Zoom, and there are still a few spots left to join.)
Week 2: Nourishing Your Body Through Food
Mia Rigden is stopping by to share her empowering approach to nutrition with the perfect meal plan to kickstart your goals for the year.
Week 3: Movement is Medicine
Mari Llewellyn shares the fitness journey that changed every aspect of her life (including a 90-pound weight loss), and her top tips for sticking to your fitness goals this year.
Week 4: Stepping Into Our Beauty
Garance Doré spills secrets on effortless French beauty and what people really notice when we walk into a room. This one is about authentic beauty, confidence, and self-care from one of my favorite voices on the topic.
I can’t wait to dive into all of this with you guys! The best part of this community is the accountability and support we can share with each other, so please leave comments throughout the month, and feel free to hop into the Breathing Space chat (download the Substack app to use it) to share your goals, experiences, and challenges with the group. Let’s make it the start of an incredible year together.
